Fashion Slow Lane!

There has been a lot of articles online recently about whether being a night owl or a morning lark is better?   There are apparently two types of people.   I am obviously a night owl.  I went to bed at 11:30 pm, read TMZ.com, Quora.com and the DailyMail, (a garbage newspaper out of the U.K.)  None of the above was very interesting except the article about Kim Kardashian and how she got her photo cut out of a Jewish newspaper because she is a female, so by 1:00 am I started reading a novel written by a famous chef.   It was interesting for about an hour, then I turned the lights off.  Sleep still eludes me. La Jolla Sunset 2015 When I first started looking at apartments in San Diego in 2013  I was excited about the move from rainy Seattle to San Diego.   I looked at over 20 apartments and applied to like 10 of them.  All of the applications were turned down. I felt hopeless.  No one wanted us.  No one wanted to rent to a family with terrible credit, two small dogs and a kid.  It did not matter than I had a copy of my husbands new salary as proof of income and that it was well above the national average.  Our credit sucked. My first REAL corporate job was awesome .  Right after graduation from Washington State University I was living in a basement room with 5 girls in a big house in Seattle.   My dad gave me an old fax machine and at night I would devour the Seattle Times and hook up the fax machine to our land line phone.  The cord for the phone would come from the kitchen down the basement stairs into my bedroom where the fax machine sat on the floor.  The job market was tough and remember sitting on the floor every night faxing my resume out to any potential fit I could find. Kanye West’s collaboration with Adidas Original at NYFW was awkward. I  love fashion but I was not feeling this designer look from NYFW.  I don't think body stockings look good on even top models.  This look reminds me of the nude pantyhose we used to wear to church under our dresses in the 1980's.   The granny stockings I wore came in a plastic egg at the grocery store.  I think they were called L'eggs.   Very similar concept except the granny stocking is a body stocking.  I wonder how you go pee?  Mr. West clearly has musical talent but I am not sure he should be a fashion designer.   Just because you have money and can buy your way onto TMZ does not mean you should be a fashion designer.   However, I have to give him credit for having the biggest names in the industry at his fashion show.   I would love to see 65 year old Anna W. in this outfit, but I have a feeling that is not going to happen.
