Life In The Slow Sunny Lane....La Jolla

A year ago, I would have never guessed I would be living in the pristine beach community of La Jolla, CA.    I was living in rainy downtown Seattle in a small high-rise apartment.   Rain was my BFF and lack of direction for the future in the midst of closing down my handbag brand was my constant companion.   I did not see the writing on the wall...I just saw doom and gloom.

Fast forward to 2013....I have been living in La Jolla for about one month.  The journey to get here was rather stressful and crazy, but I have to say, I am happy to be here, and happy for the opportunity to make a change for the better.

The weather for me makes all the difference.  When you wake up and can go outside without getting soaked to the bone, its awesome.   Here are a few photos taken with my iphone.  They are not that good, but I love the sun and all that goes with it.

Rocco and Dante seem to be happier here than stuck indoors in Seattle.  Pugs don't like to get their feet wet and they certainly don't like to walk in the rain.  Rocco likes to lay on the sidewalk in front of my building.  All the neighbors think he is the funniest thing they have ever seen.  I am glad I came here for the pugs to retire.

Ciao for now!
