Fashion Slow Lane!

My Grandma Sauvage is now 96 and she still likes to read books to her great great grandchildren. Grandma Sauvage is one of the reasons I got into fashion. I stayed one week with her every summer since the time I was about 7 or 8 yrs old until I was about 17, then after that I would go stay with my grandparents on school breaks during college or even fly to Arizona and stay a week when I was in my early 20's. We would always go shopping and hit the malls. My grandma loved to tell me what to buy, what didn't look good, what did look good, and she was almost always right and always bought me one outfit. She loved to try on clothes in the dressing room and did not mind that I was in there too, we would spent up to 4 or 5 hours in the mall - just because we both liked shopping .and she was no spring chicken but would walk faster than me. She loves good shoes and bags and Nordstrom. I have to admit I got that from her and it suits me just fine.

I can't seem to keep the kids out of the candy store, which is my office...because the handbags are bright and every thinks they are "toys" and the pugs if they are not supervised will pee on the bags, so they have to be kept up off the floor, and my office is not very big..here is a cute shot of one young lady having fun with my bags....not sure this one will make it to the sample sale girls I think its been "taken" by one three year old.

For those of you in the handbag or fashion business there are two fashion blogs devoted to bags that I read daily, one is the bagsnob.com and the other one is called the purse blog. I like the bag snob the best because the women are older and appear to be more honest and worldy in their opinions. They tend to get out more and have a history, where as the purse snob is people in their 20's who are not as well travelled and don't have a history or as many fabulous interviews with European designers.
